Maritime Travel wins Best Employer Canada Award for 2026

HALIFAX, NS – Maritime Travel has been named a Mercer Best Employer Canada for 2026 – scoring in the top 25 percent of participating companies. Following an independent survey of all Maritime Travel employees, Mercer identified Maritime Travel as excelling across critical people factors – employee engagement, and the organization’s agility, engaging leadership, and talent focus.

The award recognizes organizations that have transformed their people practices to drive better business results.

Based in Halifax, Maritime Travel has been in business since 1949 and is one of Canada’s largest independent travel agency chains, with 90 locations coast to coast, employing over 400 travel agents.
