Itinerary

Begin your exciting journey with a morning pickup in Napanee. Travel west across Ontario and admire the beginning of the leaf-peeping season. Stop for lunch (on own) in Cambridge and then continue your journey to Windsor. Your home for the next few days is Caesars Windsor Hotel & Casino, where freshly renovated rooms offer timeless elegance and comfort. With luxurious amenities throughout, the hotel boasts a variety of restaurants, live entertainment, and, of course, thrilling casino games. Today, step back in time to the Roarin’ Twenties on a Rum Runners Tour! Immerse yourself in an era of bootleggers, gangsters, speakeasies, and blind pigs. A lively cast of characters will guide you through Windsor, unveiling hidden bootlegger hideouts and grand mansions funded by rum-running profits. Even iconic landmarks like the courthouse, Ambassador Bridge, and United Methodist Church played key roles in this fascinating chapter of history. Return to the hotel and take some time to freshen up before regrouping for an included dinner.

After breakfast, board the coach and travel to quaint St. Jacob’s. Visit the Mennonite Story Museum, located in a replica Old Order meetinghouse and tour through immersive exhibits. Check in to the hotel and freshen up before regrouping for an included dinner and a Stratford Festival production of Annie. Follow the story of an optimistic orphan’s journey to find her parents, overcoming adversity with hope, resilience, and iconic songs.

After breakfast, experience the rich heritage of Ontario’s Mennonite community with a guided countryside tour. Learn the history, culture, and faith of the Mennonite and Amish communities in the Waterloo region. End the tour with a visit to the St. Jacob’s Market, Canada’s largest year-round indoor/outdoor farmers’ market. With over 300 vendors, the market offers fresh local produce, honey, maple syrup, preserves, baked goods, quality meats, and more directly from the farmers. Additional items, including housewares, hand-crafted wearables, and imported produce, can be found in the market’s three main buildings and outdoor area. After lunch (on own), stop at Picard’s Peanuts, Ontario’s first peanut-farming family, for some delicious treats. Board the coach and begin the journey home, stopping for an included dinner en route.

Deposit: $200 due at the time of booking
Final payment due: August 1, 2025

NOTE: Attraction tickets will be purchased for the participants for whom payments have been received by the date requested. Additional tickets may be confirmed after this time, subject to available seats and prices and appropriate payment being received. DeNure Tours will bear no responsibility for reservations that may be lost as a result of late payments. We will do our best to reinstate such reservations once payments have been received.

Manulife Cancellation insurance recommended. Please contact Maritime Travel to inquire about necessary travel insurance. Must be purchased at time of booking.

DOCUMENTATION
Travelling outside of Canada requires a valid Canadian passport (valid for 6 months past the trip return date). If planning to travel with something other than a Canadian passport, please contact Maritime Travel to ensure that acceptable documentation will be used.

COVID-RELATED PROTOCOLS & REQUIREMENTS
While travelling it is imperative that protocols are followed to comply with regional requirements and the safety of all travellers on this tour. Guests are encouraged to consider travel insurance that includes coverage for COVID-related cancellations and trip interruptions.

LUGGAGE ALLOWANCE
Travellers will be allowed one large suitcase per person (maximum 50 lbs.) and one carry-on bag. DeNure Tours is not responsible for guest luggage and does not assume claims for loss of or damage to luggage due to breakage, theft or wear and tear.TRAVELLER’S RESPONSIBILITY
DeNure Tours reserves the right to terminate the trip of any passenger whose inappropriate actions or conduct adversely affects others, including other passengers, employees of DeNure Tours, and employees of partner establishments. Should a trip be terminated, there will be no refund for the unused portions of the trip, and the cost of returning to the point of embarkation will be borne by the passenger.

We intend to operate all tours as described in the itineraries. Local operational situations occasionally force changes, and we reserve the right to make changes where necessary. DeNure Tours has made arrangements with hotels, transportation services, and other independent parties beyond its direct control, to provide guests with the travel services offered. DeNure Tours reserves the right to make changes in the published itinerary whenever conditions warrant, or if deemed necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of the tour.
DeNure Tours will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or death that occurs as a result of government actions, terrorism, acts of God, late arrivals, missed connections, or other factors beyond our direct control. In the event a tour must be rescheduled, DeNure Tours shall have no responsibility beyond the refund of all fares paid to DeNure Tours.

MOTORCOACH
At DeNure Tours, we own our motorcoaches and take great pride in keeping them safe, clean and comfortable for our guests. We do reserve the right to substitute a DeNure Tours motorcoach with a reliable alternative, should operational situations arise. Guests are invited to eat packaged snacks onboard, but we do ask that drinks be in containers with screw-on lids. Groups will be responsible for neglectful or negligent behaviour resulting in damages and/or extensive cleaning required after their tour.

DENUROS
DeNure Tours past loyalty program enabled guests to earn points called denuros. Although this program ended as of April 1, 2021, those who have denuros “in the bank” are welcome to redeem them. Guests travelling on this customized tour may redeem denuros to save up to 5% off the cost of a trip to a maximum of $100 per person.
