Amazing week in Mexico!

We spent two nights at the brand new Secrets Playa Blanca, three nigths at the Breathless Riviera Cancun/Secrets Riviera Cancun and two nights at the Dreams Aventuras. And visited many other Hyatt Inclusion resorts.

Our Air Canada flights were smooth yet delayed here and there. row 18 on Air Canada Rouge was well worth the exit row upgrade for a ton of space.

Firstly the HYATT app is phenomenal for dining with menus and dress codes, entertainment, map of the resort and so much more. All theses resorts offere 24 hour room service included. And have 24 hour a day Coco Cafe or Nook Cafe.

• Secrets Playa Blanca has a phenomenal couples/ friends atmosphere. The preferred club is wonderful. The rooms are all the same unless you have king or two beds, and vary by view. The theater, gym, spa and conference are not open just yet. The beach is long and swimmable. There is only one swim up bar, but the staff is all over.
• Secrets Moxche and Impressions Moxche were stunning. With a large lagoon style pool. Impression is the top of the line resort within the resort with its rooftop pool. Beautiful doesnt cover it!
• Secrets Tulum is unique in that it is circular and set in the jungle, with a younger couples feel. The beach is 15 minutes away by bus in Tulum proper.
• Dreams Aventuras is within the gated marina community. Has a man made cove beach that is fed by the ocean. This gives you a lagoon style beach, still with seaweed, but very calm for kids. smaller compact property with two waterslides, two smaller pools. Wonderful food. Renovated but still a little dated compared to others.
• Dreams Vista is in Cancun, away from other resorts and to be honest built in a wind tunnel. Long thin pool, florider and small kids water park area. roof top lounge and spa is nice.
• Dreams Sapphire- there are some renovations going on here on restaurants and adding in 70 suites. great ambiance. kids area with batting cages, waterslide, kids arcade area. the only accessible rooms are groundfloor tropical view. No elevators in this spread out property. Customers seem quite happy.
• Dreams Tulum- built in the Tulum Reserve. There were lots of no see 'ems and mosquitos. huge cafe area. low rise spread out buildings. Half of the resort has a hacienda feel and half is more newly built. lovely grounds.
• Breathless Riviera Cancun- and Secrets Riviera Cancun are connected- please note Secrets guests have FULL exchange options, but Breathless guests cannot go to Secrets- Breathless is a adults only, high energy/ vibrant resort. from poolside DJ and champagne or hooka options by the xcelerate pool, to nightly entertainment by Wink in the main courtyard. Lots of wonderful dining options. Secrets offers a much more quiet poolside experience with one dining area on this side. We split our time between the two for a balanced experience. Lots of younger couples with a mix of mature clientele.
• Hyatt Vivid- adults only resort is on a golf course (golf not included) it is a taller resort that is going to very soon have a family friendly Dreams connected to it. This resort is in Cancun, and does not have a beach onsite. You need to take a shuttle about 5 minutes to the beach. Offering stunning roof top pool and dining options. As well as the standard 24hour Coco Cafe. Wonderful main floor pool with plenty of lounging areas.
• Hyatt Ziva- wonderful family resort! there is some work going on currently in the lobby. splash pad and kids club area plus several waterslides. very small beach that is erroded and seaweed filled currently. There is a pool for nearly every building!
