I travelled with my family of 4 to the Canadian Rockies during July of 2024. We stayed at the Blackstone Mountain Lodge in Canmore for 5 nights, which was well equipped with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen and balcony with a view of the 3 sisters. They also had an outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs which we enjoyed each evening after venturing through the mountains. They offered the use of several BBQ's on site as well. Throughout our stay we booked a tour of Moraine Lake, did the Banff Gondola and spent an afternoon at Yoho National Park in BC exploring Emerald Lake. Personally, I did find the town of Canmore itself a bit touristy (mind you we arrived just after the Calgary Stampede ended), and if I were to go back, my preference would be to stay near Yoho National Park and explore that area for a few days, as there is so much there to see that we did not have the opportunity to do.

I travelled on a girls trip to New Orleans in October of 2024. One of the richest cities, culturally, I have ever had the pleasure to explore. From the old, stunning, French architecture buildings, to live music at every corner, a delicious pallet & unique adventures, this destination is truly for the artistic / eccentric person who wants to immerse themselves into something completely different. From Jackson Square, to the Steamboat Natchez, Café Du Monde, the Garden District, Swamp Tours, Cemetery Tours, Jazz Music, Voodoo Museums, there is so much here worth exploring.

I travelled with a group of friends to the Gran Muthu Almirante in the spring of 2024, staying in the Elite, Adults Only Section. This is a newer resort. The staff were outstanding, very friendly and could not do enough for you. In the Elite section we did have butler service at both the quiet pool, and our reserved beach section. We also had access to a separate restaurant which is where we ate most of our meals. Shortages at this resort were barely noticeable and none of us went feeling as though we went without. The beach section was small, but beautiful. Would definitely recommend this property

 We took our first family southern vacation together ; myself, my husband our 12 year old daughter, and my 14 year old step-daughter for March Break of 2023. We stayed at the 5* Hotel Xcaret Mexico, which offers unlimited excursion opportunities through it's 7 sister parks. The resort itself is incredible. The service, food, & grounds being most impressive. This is not a beach destination, as the beach section is quite rocky & the waves quite fierce (red flagged daily during our stay). I am a beach person, but with such unique, beautiful grounds and wonderful pools at this resort - I did not miss the beach. You could truly spend an entire week on site and not explore every nook and cranny, from caves to lagoon, to rivers, to paddle boarding / kayaking on site free to use - you truly will never get bored. We did 3 inclusive park visits while we were there, Xcaret, Xenses & Xplor. Xplor being the favorite for the adventures.

We travelled as a family to Harbour Breton, Newfoundland in the summer for a quick 5 day trip, staying at the Harbour Breton Efficiency Units. The accommodations were basically like a 2 bedroom apartment offering a full size kitchen + dining area, living room, two bedrooms, full size bathroom + washer & dryer. There was also a hot tub for you could reserve times for that we took advantage of every evening! The rate was unbelievably reasonable (under $200 per night in high season), and the staff were of course friendly and accommodating. There was plenty to do in the area from hiking Deadman's Cove, to spending the day at the beach, boat tours, views from Gun Hill (if you're brave enough to attempt the hike) and the sweetest little heritage cottage that offers breakfasts on the weekdays during summer. One of the most magical places I have been!
