How many years have you been selling travel?
I have been with LeGrows Travel now for over 5 years....and looking forward to many more.
What are your hobbies?
My hobbies include:walking, camping, biking (anything outdoors), I enjoy a good book, and I look forward to the times I get to spend with my family and friends!
What type of resort activities do you favor? ie water sports, lounging by the pool, etc?
When I travel to Caribbean destinations I can say that I enjoy lounging by the pool, going on an excursion or two and simply taking in the sights. I also enjoy cruising.
What are your favorite destinations?
Bermuda stands out as one of my favorite places to visit. The island has pink sand on its beaches...we travelled the whole country on vespas and the air smelled so sweet...it is a place I won't soon forget....My dream is to travel the world.
What languages do you speak?
I speak English.

Wow! What an adventure!
Arrived in Cairo...and was in awe of the Pyramids.... just walking next to these great structures, was a surreal moment to say the least! I Recommend taking a Camel ride in the Desert with the Pyramids as your background!
Cairo to Luxor, to see the Valley of the Kings, where we seen thousand year old tombs with colors as bright as if they were just painted yesterday. We even met a the famous Egyptian Dr. Zahi Hawass! We were told if he was in the area, that a new tomb may have been found.
The temple in Luxor at night is also a must see.
Next we went to Huraghada, to spend 4 nights at a beachside resort. Here we went scuba diving in the Red Sea and spent some time on a private island!
Our journey ended back in Cairo where we visited the Egyptian Museum and said Goodbye!
The Royal Family, Westminster Abby, St. Paul's Cathedral, Stonehenge, Tower Bridge and London Bridge, Big Ben, Hyde Park and Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square. What more can I say? An exciting city, very hip, with something to do around every corner.
Loved the people! Dining at may local restaurants. Fish and chips a must!
We stayed at The CopThorne Hotel which was located just minutes from Hyde park and the hop on hop off tourist bus, which is a great way to tour the city.
The City of Love! I absolutely adored this city. The coble stone streets and curved buildings! I just fell in love. I found the area I stayed in to be very quaint and personal. The architecture was amazing . We found the nicest pastry shop with melt in your mouth delicacies.....
The Eiffel Tower is something to be admired in person. The Louvre, and The Notre Dame Cathedral etc...
It seemed like the whole area would come out for dinner, outdoor eateries were a buzz.....and the wine was flowing.
I stayed at the Mecure Opera Paris Boulevard, and the view from my French balcony made me feel like I was back in time.
I will definitely be back..and It is a must see destination for all.
Recently travelled to Hawaii.... We landed in Honolulu...where we stayed for a couple of days. We visited The Worlds Most Famous Private Nature Reserve.... KUALOA! We seen where King Kong, The New Jumanji movie and the Jurassic Park movies were all filmed....
We then flew from Honolulu to Maui where we went snorkeling.....and got to see the most amazing sea life as well as a large sea turtles.
Had the opportunity to visit this special country again this past September...I travelled here with friends and we spent a week at the Grand Bahia Principe Jamaica. A great sprawling resort which offered many dining options.....and immaculate grounds and pools.
We experienced riding horseback in the ocean..A must do for anyone who loves the ocean and riding... It is an experience I will remember for ever. I do have one regret...that I did not visit the Luminous Lagoon... But this is one of the many reasons I will be returning. :)
Travelled to this beautiful country to attend a destination wedding! Although I have planned many destination weddings....this was a first for me to experience such a ceremony in person. I was impressed by how well planned everything was...and the professionalism of the wedding coordinator, and staff. Upon arrival....the bride and groom are required to be at destination a least 2 days prior to the ceremony...at this time, they meet with the coordinator and everything is explained, reviewed and confirmed. The music was great the decorating was lovely...and we had picture taken at the wedding gazebo, with some antique cars (they are everywhere) and on the beach! I have to say the beaches in Varadero are some of the nicest I've seen. The water was so warm, and the beaches were wide and flat and seemed to go on forever!
The resort was a nice, could use a little updating...but was clean. I would of liked to have seen more eating options as there was only 2 restaurants on site. Staying in Varadero gave us the opportunity to hop on the double decker bus which would take you all throughout the town of Varadero. Being only a short ride from Havana....we travelled to this wonderful city....approx. a 2 hr drive both ways, but worth it as you get to see the beautiful countryside.
Can't wait to go back!!!
Just had 2 days in this beautiful busy city!! So much to see and do. We landed in Newark, New Jersey and took the train into Madison Square Garden....There was a game and it was no trouble to see the pride in new York as almost every person we seen was wearing a New York RANGERS jersey!!! We then grabbed a cab, which were readily available and we were off to the hotel. After checking in we decided to go on a walking tour...and being hungry grabbed a lunch from one of the many roadside venders. Times Square is iconic of what you think it is...and warranted a visit again later that night. Central Park is a Paradise.....We literally walked from one end of the park to the other and in total spent approx. 5 hours in the park. Among the fountains, the lake and the grassy fields we stopped long enough to get refreshed, then continued on taking in all the sights. While strolling through the park it's hard to imagine that your in the middle of one of the worlds most popular cities.....except for the view of skyscrapers which appear every now and then through the tree tops!
OMG! Where do I start....This cruise is amazing.....There were so many activities and things to do...from daily activities by the pool, painting classes, dance classes, nightly entertainment...and even movies under the stars!!!! I even took in an Art auction and purchased a couple of pieces at an amazing price!!!
Now let me get to the best part...BERMUDA!!!! This is by far one of the most beautiful places I have seen. We were docked for 3 days and had the freedom to come and go 24 hrs a day. We decided to discover Bermuda via scooter....and in my opinion this is the only way to do so.....We rented a scooter from a vender who was pier side, very convenient, and off we went. We travelled from the Royal Navy dockyard all the way up to St. Georges....stopping along the way to admire the many brightly colored homes, historic sights and secluded beaches.
We met a lot of people in our travels and I have to say Bermudians are some of the nicest people I've come across. Upon taking a wrong turn during our scooter adventure...we had one gentlemen who went out of his way to help us get back on track. We enjoyed the shopping, NO TAXES....stopped at a local eatery for lunch and even tried the local drink " Dark N Stormy" a mixture of their famous Golsing Bermuda Black Run and ginger beer..Yummy!! While at the dock you have to stop and admire the art of blown glass..done right in front of you..you even get to purchase the many locally made pieces. I also have to suggest trying the Bermuda Run cake. Delicious. I can't wait to go back!
Having visited Florida before ..staying on site at Disney..(A wonderful family vacation..by the way) and I loved traveling back...to spend time in Kissimmee and surrounding areas. We stayed at the Regal Oakes resort...a great property. If you are looking to travel to Florida ...staying in Kissimmee is the way to go! Centrally located, with so many attractions, shopping etc...
During our stay we visited Universal, Islands of Adventure, SeaWorld, Aquatica, Busch Gardens, Wild Florida and even got to ride in a Hot Air Balloon!!! With many places to stay like Encantada (a town house w/Hottub...a brand new complex)..and shuttle buses available within walking distance that will take you to many of the parks.... and unlimited shopping!!!!
Don't forget Chicago's Capones Dinner and Show...an unforgettable night of laughs, fun and food...a must for those looking to experience the gangster era.... Everything you want is waiting for you in Kissimmee!
For the second half of our trip..we stayed at Southern Dunes ....one of the many gated communities in the Orlando Area...and this particular property also has it's own golf green...and private pool.
Relax, Relax, Relax.... that's all I did when I travelled to the Bahamas! What a beautiful sight as you are flying over the many islands that make up the Bahamas...White sandy beaches and the most beautiful water I have ever seen....a perfect mixture of green and blue...that has to be seen to be appreciated. Staying at Sandals Royal Bahamian, just made relaxing that much easier! A nice adults only resort..that included a wine and cheese night....piano bar...and complimentary introductory scuba lesson.
Just a short distance from the resort , we visited a local market that offered many trinkets and gifts made locally. Be sure to try Conch stew OR the local Conch fry...available at one of the venders located off the resort.
With it's own off shore private island, it's like 2 vacations in one!!! Just a short boat ride...you travel to the island..which has it's own restaurant (Stew Fish) and not 1 but 2 secluded beaches.
I can't wait to go back!
I travelled to Mexico in October 2013. I had the opportunity to stay at both family and adults only resorts. After visiting both Cancun and the Mayan Riviera, I can see why people are drawn to this beautiful country.
During my stay in Jamaica I was fortunate enough to stay in the many Sandals and Beaches properties!! Beaches Ocho Rios Sandals Monetgo Bay, Carlyle..(now Pineapple)..and Sandals Royal Caribbean...Stay at 1 play at 2!! Sandals Grand Riviera and Sandals Royal Plantation I have to say...that both Sandals (Adults Only) and Beaches (Family)..offer everything imaginable and more!! Attention to detail and the service is impeccable. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Jamaica staying at a Sandals or Beaches resort is the only way to go!
This is a huge resort albeit a nice one. There are 4 buildings located throughout this property. You have the Bavaro, Punta Cana, Palace...which offers loft suites and finally the Royal Suites Turquesa (the adults only section).
My favorite accommodations had to be the Royal Suites. There are romance suites(ground floor only) which include an outdoor shower and hammock! You have access to their exclusive restaurant and pool. Beautiful swim ups are also available. Pillow menus, safe and Wifi are all included.
Trams run throughout the resort to make getting around a little easier. Or you can opt for a bike rental..available at a rate of $8 per day. While the adults only section is amazing the kids club (with over 1.5 million in upgrades) is unbelievable. There is a splash center...and even a zip line!!! The Grand Palladium definitely makes for a nice family holiday!
