My family and I spent 5-days at the Bavaro Princess All-Suites resort in Punta Cana, DR, from August 12 to 17th.  First impressions...beautiful grounds, knowledgeable staff at check-in, friendly and efficient bellboy service, huge room.  We all enjoyed our stay. All staff were friendly and efficient at their jobs. Room was kept clean by the maid who was also creative with towel art every day. The resort “train” came around frequently to take you to the beach, restaurants or lobby. Animation team had activities going every day at the main pool and beach, but weren’t pushy. Nightly entertainment was typical of Caribbean resorts. Lasted about an hour to an hour 1-2, and was followed by live band or DJ. There is an option to upgrade to Platinum club for extra services, but we did not take this option for only 5-days. Pros of this resort: -staff -beautiful grounds  -beautiful beach -extra large rooms -good à la Carte restaurants -great food at beach grill -poor wi-fi forces you to disconnect  -only 20 minutes from the airport  -across from shopping area Cons of this resort: -Wi-fi is only available in lobby and is not very stable (Extra access at beach café can be purchased but we did not purchase.) -Mangrove on-site is beautiful for picture taking but can get smelly;especially after some rain stirs it up -some people may find it too large with 806 rooms -drinks at beach bar weren’t great...better at pool bar

All staff was 10++. Amazing staff!  Entertainment team (day & night) are terrific.  Food was really good. 4 a la cartes with no reservations-first come/first served. Jerk chicken beach hut = YUM!

 Very clean property where you always see someone cleaning something. Pools are shallow, so good for dipping. One is the activity pool, where there's something going on most of the day & music playing, as well as typical resort competition games. The other pool is the "quiet" pool. Disco is located at the Riu Montego Bay 2 resorts over. The beach is on the smaller side since it's not a big resort, but it was a nice beach. The resort is only 5 minutes from the  airport.

Good moderately priced hotel on the strip.

Excellent resort for families! Resort is divided in 2 sections. The regular rooms are on the small side. The family suites are great! One pool has a waterslide and the other has a lazy river.  There are splash pads for the smaller kids, a sandy area with activities to do, movies on the lawn at night, a bowling alley, arcade, and more.  Large selection of foods in the food court.  Buses to Universal run regularly and efficiently, and it's a short 5 minute ride to the parks. You do not have the Express pass option when staying at this Universal property, but you get early admission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Great restaurants in City Walk. Both Universal parks are fun. Harry Potter section is done so well! Wet 'n Wild is on the smaller side.

Beautiful resort.!Very clean. Good food, good staff, great beach & pool. Lots to keep busy as you have access to all the other Bahia Principe properties in the complex. Loved it!

The most beautiful beach & crystal clear water. Good resort for the budget minded. Resort has an older feel to it, although it's not very old.  We received great service from everyone. Great activity team by the pool and beach. Very large complex, so lots of walking involved depending on your room location.

Great staff, good food, BEAUTIFUL grounds, small beach & pool. Intimate resort. Enjoyed it very much. LOVED the friendliness of the people of St-Lucia.  Joy's Cruise was a wonderful tour!
