What an experience.  AMA cruise on the Rhine - Rhine Castles and Swiss Alps tour. October 2022 from Toronto flew to Zurich and was met and transferred to AMAmora ship docked at Basel.  Cruised the Rhine visiting many sites and doing numerous fun and informative excursions which are included in the cruise costs.  Each stop along the Rhine offered a selection of excursions for your choosing.  Dining was so enjoyable being offered a number of choices of food and wine.  Food quality very good.  Staff were so friendly and accommodating.  Cruise and cabins very clean.  I am so happy I experienced this style of vacation and am planning on doing another river cruise experience in the future.

I had a wonderful travel experience with Insight Vacations (bus tour) exploring Italy.  It was amazing walking the streets of Rome to see Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps.  Visiting the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica with a guide and skipping the line ups.

What wonderful sights visiting Orvieto, Assisi, Perugia, Siena and San Gimignano  seeing the hilltop historic cities and the vineyards of Tuscany.   Sunshine and wine in Tuscany exploring wineries and vineyards.  These were some of my favorite stays as the views are magnificent.

Florence, a historic and shopping must see.  The walking tours were well done with local guides. 

Of coarse the wine and food in Italy was beyond wonderful.  Fresh, local (farm to table) ingredients always presented in the most delicious meals.   Totally enjoyed Chef  Lorenzo's meal and cooking demonstration in Orvieto.   Gelato had to be a daily treat due to the numerous selection of flavours i.e. lavender, chocolate,    Yummy.

Enjoyed Italy much more that I ever imagined and experiencing Italy with Insight Vacations was top notch.

I visited New York City which was a great adventure.  People were very friendly, more so that what I had anticipated.

Stayed at the Renaissance 57 hotel in Manhattan which was a great location for walking and seeing the sites - Madison Avenue, Tiffanys, Central Park and Times Square.

Was able to see a musical "Escape to Margaritaville"  great tunes and a lot of laughs.

 Had an exciting evening going to Yankee stadium and watching the Blue Jays vs the Yankees.  Blue Jays won, way to go.

 Sad to leave New York realizing that there were still so many other venues to explore so this destination stays on the list for future exploration.

What an interesting city, the old mixed with the new.  Touring the Tower of London, cruising on the Thames river, Buckingham Palace and the Royal Stables, Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey.  A nice city to walk around but you might need your umbrella depending on when you visit.  Have a really good view of the city from the London Eye.
