I walked the Portuguese coastal route from Porto to Santiago in October. I stayed three weeks in the beautiful seaside town of Ancora and three nights in Porto prior to starting the camino.  After the camino I travelled throughout Europe including stays in Bordeaux, France; Luxembourg City, Trier and Frankfurt, Germany; Galway, Ireland and Iceland

I sailed roundtrip Vancouver aboard the Nieuw Amsterdam for 7 days in May 2017.  Stops included Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan

Walked the Portuguese coastal route from Porto to Santiago and then a sidetrip by bus to Fisterra.  I spent three nights in Lisbon, one in Evora, 2 in Sintra, and 3 in Porto prior to walking the camino.

I spent 5 nights on this lovely island and spent time exploring Funchal including the beautiful Botanical Gardens.

Visited Delhi, Jaipur, Ranthambhore, and Agra and stayed in the Metropolitan in Delhi, Trident in Jaipur, Tree House in Ranthambhore, and Trident in Agra, all excellent 4 star hotels.  Delhi - Visited some impressive sites including Qutb Minar, Bahai Lotus Temple, Raj Ghat, India Gate, Parliament building, saw a Bollywood movie

Jaipur - the 'pink city', past home of Maharajas and riches.  Visited the Amber Fort and Palace, City Palace Museum, Jantar Mantar

Ranthambhore - Ranthambore National Park is a vast wildlife reserve.  It is a former royal hunting ground and home to tigers, leopards and marsh crocodiles.  We went on two sarfaris and were lucky to see a tiger!

Agra - Visited the Agra Fort, Itmad Ud Daulah, known as the baby Taj, Sikandra and a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal.

One week river cruise sailing from Nuremburg, Germany to Budapest, Hungary aboard the Emerald Star with 3 nights prior in Prague, staying at the Yasmin Hotel.

I spend 3 nights in Sintra at the Hotel Sintra Jardim. It is a 10 min walk to central town in a quiet location with lovely staff and beautiful gardens.  I also spent two nights in Lisbon at the Ever Lisboa City Centre Hotel.

Spent two nights at the St George Residence All Suite Hotel located in the historic castle district in Budapest. 

I spent one month travelling throughout Switzerland, France and England.  I visited Geneva, Brig and Wengen in Switzerland and enjoyed to hike in the Alps.  In France, I rented a car and visited Annecy, Lyon, Perouges, Provence area, Cannes, and the Brittany area.   took the ferry over to Poole, England and spent a few days exploring the Dorset area and ended the trip with 3 nights in London.

I stayed at 3 different resorts from May 10-23 and took a day trip to Aitutaki.  I stayed at Lagoon Breeze Villas, Puiakura Reef Lodges and Manuia Beach Resort.  A phenomenal vacation!

Spent 5 nights from November 24-29.  Beautiful adults only quiet resort

I spent one week at the Barcelo Solymar Resort.  This resort is quite large and sits on a beautiful stretch of Varadero beach.  Great resort for singles, couples and families.

Sailed with AMA Waterways on the Rhone River.

Stayed two nights at the Marriott Budapest then boarded the AMADante.  Stops included Bratislava, Vienna, Durnstein, Wachau, Melk, Linz, Passau, and disembarking in Vilshofen.  An added excursion to Cesky Krumlov. Ended the trip in Amsterdam for three nights and did an excursion to Keukenhof Gardens.

Visited Barcelona, Spain for 3 nights then boarded the Carnival Magic and stopped at Monaco, Rome, Florence, Naples, Dubrovnik, Venice, Sicily and then back to Barcelona.

November 7-8

I spent one week at the Breezes Jibacoa Resort.  This resort is 1 hour from Havana and is perfect for those wanting to relax but also take in a day or two of the sights in Havana.  The food is the best I have experienced in Cuba.  Most guests return, I talked to many that had stayed here several times.

Spent one week travelling throughout Costa Rica - visited 16 resorts in total.  Itinerary included Sarapiqui (rainforest), Arenal Volcano, Tabacon Hot Springs, ziplining, Monteverde Cloud Forest, North Pacific coast, Tamarindo area, Central Pacific coast, Jaco, and Manuel Antonio National Park
