We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha for 6 nights.  This is a hotel with a fridge and coffee maker.  It was the perfect location with a really nice beach and pool.  We could walk to anywhere in the town of Kailua Kona.  There were some favorite restaurants we found like Splashers Grill, Bubba Gumps, Kona Brewing company.  

We rented a car for a few days and drove the island to the city of Refuge.  A trip to Hapuna Beach is a must.    Loved the Island and the people, they are all so friendly on this Island. Highly recommended. 

Spent three wonderful days and nights in Prague, what an amazing city.  We stayed at the A Prince Hotel with a view of the Astronomical Clock right in the old town square. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant, one in the square, one in the lobby and the famous Black Angel Bar in the basement.   We visited the Prague Castle, St Nicholas Cathedral and walked the famous Charles Bridge many times. We were fortunate to have a visit to the Cesky Krumlov too.  The Czech people are so friendly, I would go back anytime. We flew to Budapest for a night and stayed in a hotel with a view of the parliament buildings. We got up early in the morning so we had a day to explore the Buda Castle and the Baths.  We boarded the beautiful brand new Scenic Jasper River boat. Fantastic accommodations, food and staff not to mention the regional entertainment. The tours are wonderful with great guides and drivers. We cruised to Durnstein, Linz Melk and Vienna with stops along the way.  The Castle where Richard the Lion Hearted was held captive was a great hike up the hillside. The Famous Lipizzaner horses and stables were so awesome.  My personal favorite was the  Palais Liechtenstein with a beautiful performance of Music, Song and Ballet. Highly recommended. 

We stayed at the beautiful Intercontinental resort in Papeete for 2 nights.   We chose an over the water  bungalow for our 2 night pre cruise stay.  This was such a wonderful romantic option.  I would highly recommend this.  If you have the time and money Bora Bora would be even better.  After 2 wonderful days we boarded Oceania's beautiful ship The Marina.  Loved the ship and all the amenities offered.  The food was fantastic with so many eating options with no extra surcharges, the open air dining at the back of the ship was so enjoyable in such a beautiful climate.  The entertainment was not the big ship caliber but the destination was truly our entertainment.

We sailed in Huahine on a private boat, this was a dream come true sailing around the island.  We snorkeled in Bora Bora with Christophe at Reef discovery. Went to Bloody Marys for a meal and drink.   Definitely a dream holiday everyone should do this once and tick it off your bucket list. 

This is a place we love to go because it is so close with only a two hour flight from Vancouver.  Last visit we stayed at the Cosmopolitan in a Studio suite for 4 nights.  So fabulous with a Balcony, a great way to watch the night lights of Las Vegas.  The hotel is first class with great pools and ammenities.   We moved to the Bellagio Hotel for 3 nights to take advantage of free show offer.  We were very pleasantly surprised by  the Cirque show Zarkana.   We took in a couple of others shows Chris Angel, it was good  and Frank Marina's Divas' which was very entertaining and a lot of fun to watch. 

Lots of great dining, shopping and people watching in Las Vegas.  WestJet or Air Canada have the best direct service to Vegas. 

We boarded the Beautiful Ama Certo for the Tulip time River cruise in Amsterdam.  This was such a great cruise with rivers ways as wide as lakes it sometimes felt like we not on a river at all.  I loved waking up and finding we had docked in places such as Volendam, with all the pretty colored houses and shops.  The food was fantastic as were the wines and excursions.    The ship has great Bikes on board that are so comfy and require no instructions to ride.  Saw so many windmills in Kinderdijk.  The war museum in Arnhem was a must see with lots of  rich history.  We took an optional trip to Brugge and it was well worth it.  It was a very beautiful city and the chocolate shops were plentiful with Belgium chocolates.  The last day of our tour we were fortunate to visit the world famous  Keukenhof Garden show just outside of Amsterdam.  I have never seen so many varieties of Tulips, such a wonderful day.  Loved this cruise, I would recommend this trip but would advise to take warm clothes as the north sea wind can be cold in the spring. 

We flew to Puerto Vallarta and stayed at the Secrets Puerto Vallarta for 1 week March 2013.  Loved the hotel and the restaurants and no wrist band.  The location was great with little message places just outside the gates of the resort.  Who doesn't want a message for $25 an hour?  We were their best customers that week they hugged us when we left.   The Malecon downtown Puerto Vallarta is beautiful walking area and free of traffic.  There are numerous restaurants, bars and shops to take advantage of.  We chose a spot on the beach to have a shrimp Taco and ice cold beer, paradise achieved.  Loved the trip and the area. 

We arrived in Barcelona early morning and were so happy we had booked a private transfer to our hotel, we dropped off our luggage and started to explore this beautiful city.   We spent two days exploring the city on the hop on hop off bus with stops all over the city.  The architecture is really what defines this city.  We then flew to Venice for 3  nights where we stayed right on the island so we could get up early and explore the sights and just take in the ambiance of the area.   We boarded the Ruby Princess  for 12 nights, the ports were all so beautiful, Athens, Istanbul, Kusadasi, Mykonos, Naples, Rome, Florence, Monte Carlo and back to Barcelona for our flight home.  So much to see and do on this European adventure from the Topkapi Palace to Pompeii.  Beautiful Itinerary and highly recommended.   

We traveled to the Mayan Riviera for our son's wedding in March of 2011.   This was a large family group of 43 of us.  The resort did a fantastic job on the whole wedding from the ceremony on the beach to the private dinner in the Italian restaurant.  The rooms at this resort are spacious and the hotel is built like a pyramid.  The resort has a good snorkeling beach and a winding river ride with tubes and such to move you along. 

The restaurants were great as were the coffee shop and Ice Cream Parlor with different flavors daily.    A great time was had by all. 

This trip to Ireland was fantastic.  We arrived in Dublin and started a city tour which included Trinity University and of course the Library and Book of Kells.  We visited the Irish national stud farm where all the race horses are kept, even the ones that no longer race.  Great place to see for sure.  We visited Waterford crystal showroom, Cork, Killarney, Kilkenny , Blarney Castle, Ring of Kerry, Galway and the cliffs of Mohr.  The People of Ireland were so friendly.  I recommend this trip to anyone interested in Ireland.     

Five nights on the beautiful Coral Princess was fabulous.  The staff were so friendly and helpful, the entertainment was great as was the food and activities.  The nightly entertainment seemed to go on forever.  There was two wine tastings that were very informative and enjoyable (for a fee).  Overall I would highly recommend Princess.    

My 6th visit to Disneyland, It is always a great experience.  We stayed at the Carousel Inn & Suites.  Overall it is a good hotel, and close to the park.  The beds are comfy and the rooms are clean.  Last time we stayed at the Disneyland resort, of course there is no comparison but if you are on a budget the Carousel if just fine.  We did a trip to Universal and well as both the Disneyland Parks.  A great trip.

We spent 2 nights in the beautiful colonial city of Quito before our cruise began.  The city is rich in history being right on the equator we got to tour the official line.  The people are very friendly. Their currency is US dollars.  They have a big export of long stemmed roses where you can buy them in the city for 2.00 for two dozen.  They have big bouquets in every lobby.  On the third day we went back to the airport to board our flight to Baltra in the islands.  We had a short stop in Guayaquil to drop off roses for export.  Upon arrival in Baltra we were bused to ocean and boarded zodiacs to take us to the Celebrity Expedition.  The ship is all inclusive and has only up to 90 passenger capacity. 

Our cabins were adequate for sleeping, we spent no time in them while we were awake.  The atmosphere is so casual and friendly.  Two zodiac trips a day to see the islands and wildlife.  My personal favorite was walking in the fields with the large turtles, loved this part of it.  I was fortunate to see Lonesome George at the Charles Darwin centre.  This was truly a trip of a lifetime.    

We stayed at this resort for 1 week December 2009.  The rooms are really, typical mexican style with a beautiful ocean view.  The restaurants were all excellent, especially the Japanese and the Italian.  The only one we did not care for was the seafood, this is the open air beach grill by day and turns into the seafood resaurant at night.  There are only 5 items on the menu that do not have an additional charge, up to $25-$50usd per person.  The coffee bar is excellent with specialty coffees searved all day long with pastries and sandwiches for lunch.  The drink service by the pool was great.  Water aerobics daily and lots of pool activities throughout the day if you didn't want to just sit by the pool and lounge.  The beach has lots of seating with nice lounges and Palapas.  Evening entertainment was typical Mexican style.  Overall a good resort.   

We spent 7 amazing nights at this resort and enjoyed every minute of it.  From the minute you step off the plane Sandals meets you and walks you to their arrivals lounge to freshen up for the bus trip to the resort.  Upon arrival at Whitehouse you are offered cool cloths, drinks etc.  The rooms are beautful with ocean views and four poster beds, not to mention the spa amenities kit you are given upon arrival.  No need to take lotions, shampoo, conditioner and aloe gel.  The Staff is excellent and very professional.   The food is  Al A Carte with the exception of breakfast.  No standing in line making reservations for dinner, there is always a spot available in one of the many fabulous restaurants.  The wine is bottled exclusively for Sandals by Berringer estates and is included.  The entertainment is very diverse with outdoor nightly entertainment, a sing along piano bar, disco, beach party.  For Activities the main pool has a great water aerobics instructor, there is a tennis instructor, snorkelling, sailing, scuba diving, glass bottom boat rides all included.  Definately our favorite resort we have been to.  I have stayed at or visited at all of the Sandals resorts in Jamaica except Ocho Rios.
