Freedom Tours by Maritime Travel is an Atlantic Canadian tour operator specializing in both inbound and outbound travel, as well as all other aspects of travel.

We are an Atlantic Canadian company, long established and large enough to negotiate excellent rates, but small enough to provide personalized service and flexibility. SHORE EXCURSIONS

Shore Excursions In & Around Saint John, New Brunswick. Your tour departs from outside from any of our three cruise terminals. Please note, we will not be found in any terminal on port property. After disembarking your ship, please proceed through the terminal and to the exit. Once you have exited the cruise terminal to the sidewalk, you will be met by a representative holding a white sign that reads “Freedom Travel.” The representative will escort you to your departure location just outside the port.

STEP ON GUIDE SERVICES

Freedom Tours is able to offer Step-On Guide service in Saint John New Brunswick!

Discover nearly four hundred years of history in Canada’s oldest incorporated city and experience a unique blend of past and present in one of the friendliest cites that you’ll ever visit. You’ll be fascinated as your tour guide introduces you to personalities, places, and events that have made Saint John “the greatest little city in the east”. Experience the Reversing Falls Rapids where some of the highest tides meet twice a day, the mighty Saint John River and cause the river to reverse its direction.

Stop to explore the sights and smells in the old City market and chat with local folks as they buy fresh produce in an old fashioned market setting built in 1876. Visit Martello Tower from the War of 1812 and the beauty of Bay of Fundy from Fort Howe, which overlooks this charming old port City. Learn the history of the United States Empire loyalists who founded the city in 1783 and the story of General Benedict Arnold from American Revolutionary War fame.

Since becoming part of Maritime Travel, Freedom Tours will be able to offer Step on Guide service in new cities including Charlottetown, PEI, St.John’s, NL, Halifax, NS and Sydney, NS.
