I took an incredible journey to Egypt with On the Go Tours. The 'King Ramses Tour' was comprehensive, first class and encompassed Egypt at it's best! The hotels were wonderful. Our guide Nadir was knowledgeable, fun and oh so patient! It was an awe-inspiring destination I would recommend the destination and 'On the Go Tours' in a heart beat!

  Every once and awhile you have to go back to Las Vegas! It is vibrant, busy and fun! And in August it was hot! 39C plus every day, so we chose a resort with a nice pool area!  Food is great, shopping is great, shows are great, Donny and Marie and Aerosmith this time! We spent way too much money....oh well! 

China is a diverse amazing country. It is filled with a very rich history from the Terracotta Warriors, the Great Wall and the Forbidden City (to name a few) mixed with a modern flare where shopping, bullet trains and Shanghai's neon skyline scream present-day. I spent 11 days discovering history, food, shopping! Ask me about the overnight train from Shanghai to Xian....It was a great trip! 

We spent 4 nights in Sorrento. Took the train to Venice and spent 2 nights there. We then took an 11day cruise from Venice. Ports of call were Iraklion (Crete) Greece. Haifa Israel for 2 nights where we also took a day trip to Jerusalem. Limassol Cyprus, Rhodes Greece, Kotor Montenegro, Split Croatia. Love, love Italy! The Amalfi coast is amazing! Venice is iconic. Norwegian Cruise lines was very good. Service and staff were amazing. Food was great. The ship, NCL Spirit was a little dated, but well looked after, no complaints! History and culture and shopping! It was a great vacation  

We spent 4 full days in New York City! It was a busy, jam packed vacation, but so much fun! We mastered the subway (mostly!). Google Maps was our friend with not only street, but also subway directions. We took several escorted tours: Walking the Brooklyn Bridge, 911 Memorial, Lower Manhattan, Central Park Movie Tour, Little Italy and China Town, just to name a few. I found a great local company and you paid by tipping. It was also great that when our plans changed, we just sent a quick text to let them know and were not out any money. Front of the line pass to the Empire State Building was one of our best buys. Staten Island Ferry to view the Statue of Liberty was also a great, free, quick way to see an iconic New York landmark. We saw 2 Broadway shows (a must!). And still had plenty of free time to do a little shopping and exploring on our own. Not an inexpensive city, but an amazing one!     

I spent two nights in Whistler BC in the summer of 2016. I was pleasantly surprised! It was so much fun! Cafes, lounges, restaurants, hiking, biking, touring! What a great "Stay in Canada Vacation!" 

We flew to Saigon, the city of 10 million people and 6 million scooters! Organized chaos on the road! Markets, trishaws, palaces, temples, culture all combined for an amazing few days. We then boarded the AMA Dara, a beautiful river boat and headed north into Cambodia for an unforgettable 7 nights on the Mekong River. The scenery, floating villages and people made for an incredible journey. The outdoor markets were amazing. The temples and history combined for amazing architecture. We ended our journey in Seam Reap where the craziness of Pub Street was in complete contrast to experiencing the sun rise over Angkor Watt.    

I travelled to Kenya,  April 2015. We spent several nights in Nairobi and then headed off on Safari! We stayed at 4 different Safari Camps each very different and unique.  The journey was amazing and the destination jaw-dropping. It was a trip of a lifetime I will never forget!  You'll have to call or email me for more details!

Nashville Tennessee, what an electric city! So much fun, so much talent, so friendly! Downtown Nashville has a bar every second door down where the music booms out into the streets you can't help but going in to check it out. If it isn't a bar it is a cowboy boot store! The Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman Theater was truly classical. I stood in line for 2 hours to get into  the Blue Bird Café for Open Mic night, it was totally worth it. I was lucky enough to watch the filming of the CMA Country Xmas show a the Bridgestone Arena, Jennifer Nettles, Alan Jackson, Carrie Underwood, LeAnn Rimes, Brad Paisley, Steven Tyler, Hunter Hayes, Little Big Town, Idina Menzal, ....OMG! What a great city, what a great time!  

I spent 15 wonderful days on a Viking River Cruise sailing the Rhine, Main and Danube Rivers taking me from Budapest to Amsterdam. Before the cruise began, I spent 3 nights in Prague. This itinerary is full of castles, vineyards, history, great food and wonderful wines! The staff and service on Viking was 5 star. Our new Viking Longship Atla was lovely. It was truly a bucket list vacation.

Hawaii is a fantastic place to travel to. The weather was perfect. The temperature was just right...and no jackets in the evening either! Although Waikiki Beach in Honolulu is wonderful, Hawaii has so much more to offer. There are wonderful outdoor restaurants , bars and cafes. Incredible shopping. Great hiking. From Farmer's Markets to museums to the history of Pearl Harbour and  China town. It really is so much more than just a beach vacation, but if you want beach and pools Hawaii is for you too!    

I travelled to Ixtapa March 2014. I was pleasantly surprised, it was a lovely destination, quiet and laid back. Zihatunejo is a fishing village 4KM away where it all began, from there Ixtapa was built as the toursit destination to compliment Zihutuano. Ixtapa has lovely cove beaches where waves crash into shore. You do have to be cautious if you enjoy swimming in the ocean, but for the surfer or boogie boarder it would be great fun. I stayed at Las Brisas, a wonderful resort built on the side of a hill.  It had a private beach, every room at the resort was ocean view. There was lots of walking, up and down hills, but there were shuttles and elevators at the resort.  It is about a 15minute stroll to town or a 2 minute cab ride. If you want to stay in the action though, there are many resorts right in the downtown/market area. I had no complaints!

I was in Varadero Cuba spring 2013. I loved it!. Every beach I saw was amazing. Long stretches of white sand and beautiful blue waters. The resort I stayed at, Riu Varadero was very nice. Great active areas as well as quiet corners and adults only areas. A day trip to Havana is a must! What a great city. The history and culture and those old cars are so very cool. There are great resorts to chose from. Cuba does have its chllenges, but if you travel with an open mind and embrace the differences you'll love it!
