Testimonials
“Costa Rica was amazing! Our tour leader Maxine Monk [Truro, NS] was helpful and fun! We went zip lining in the rain forest and yes, so you know, it does rain in the rain forest! We were soaked, but we had so much fun! We soaked in the hotsprings, which was a delight for the senses. We walked the hanging bridges in the cloud forest, and we were woken up by howler monkeys. We went to the spa and strolled the beach and ate with locals and of course drank fresh hand-picked coffee. What a great experience it all was!”

“It is hard to pick what my favourite Costa Rica moment was. It is a fabulous destination with so much diversity. Just getting to the Monteverde Cloud Forest was an adventure in itself – travelling the unpaved narrow road was a real challenge, but it offers hiking trails with eight hanging bridges to cross, where you can see monkeys and different species of birds. El Establo Mountain Lodge is beautiful and my favourite beach hotel in Tamarind was Hotel Capitan Suizo, a boutique hotel I’d recommend to honeymooners without hesitation. The Tabacon hot springs is another must-see; you can purchase a day pass for this area.

“The trip to Costa Rica was fabulous! Maxine, Roy and Miza are the best to travel with! There were a lot of Wow moments, from the Tabacon Grand Thermal Spa & Hot Springs Resort, to the aerial tram and ziplining to Monteverde and visiting a pineapple and coffee plantation. We’ll be visiting again!”
