Ka'anapali, Maui, HI, USA - 2023

Great to return to Maui, and enjoy the beautifully clear water in the Ocean off the Ka'anapali beach.

Chicago/Lake Geneva, USA - 2018

We started in Lake Geneva for a family wedding and didn't spend too much time there, as we had planned to go to Chicago right away. From what I could see, Lake Geneva looked like it would be a great place to enjoy the summer.I wasn't initially keen on going to Chicago, however, it was a trip that was very enjoyable and exceeded expectations. We enjoyed the AMAZING Chicago Art Institute, with the many friendly security staff that helped with any questions we had. We experienced the classic Chicago wind, and ended up hunkering down during a rainstorm in a local restaurant with a view. We enjoyed the dry sanctuary, and lunch.There were many historical buildings downtown, and they were a sight to see. The style in which they were built was beautiful. We also enjoyed seeing the iconic 'Bean.' We shared some laughs when we were standing beneath it taking photos, as our images were a bit distorted in reflection.The food in Chicago was amazing, from Blaze Pizza to the Webber Grill. Special mention goes to the award winning Biskoff Pocket by Stan's Donuts & Coffee, it was the best doughnut(Canadian English) I have ever eaten, and I wish they had them in Canada!

Maui, HI, USA - 2017

I've been here several times, most recently in 2017. Our family enjoys staying in the Ka'anapali area. It's always very relaxing, and we love being near Whalers Village and accessing the lovely Ocean Walk nearby.

California (Pasedena, Disneyland), USA - 2016

I found myself in Pasedena for training in 2016. We had a small window of opportunity to spend 6 hours in Disneyland. Having not been there since I was a child, I can honestly say that it was fun being there when I was younger, but I might have enjoyed it even more as an adult.

Mayan Riviera, Mexico - 2016

In 2016 I attended a friend's destination wedding in the Mayan Riviera. I particularly enjoyed the size of the resort, as there were lots of opportunities to stroll around, and the different restaurants were fun as well. For a destination wedding, this location was great for our group, and the wedding was memorable to all who attended. We stayed in one of the Barcelo Hotel Group properties.

Quebec City, Canada - 2016

I was in Quebec City in 2016 for a Conference. The highlight of the trip, aside from the experiences with the people I was with, was viewing the Vieux Quebec area around the Hotel Frontenac. It was charming in the cool fall season when we were there. If I went back, it would be great to experience this area in the Winter, as I'm sure it would have the charm of looking like an old fashioned village inside of a snow globe.

Tokyo/Kanazawa, Japan - 2015

I went to Japan in 2015. Most of my time, during our 10 day trip, was divided between Tokyo and Kanazawa. Japan was amazing. It was very clean, and I felt very safe. There were so many great things to see and experience.
